Support for 2021 P4G Seoul Summit

In cooperation with global leading organizations such as GGGI-WRI-GCF, GTC lead the preparation of the P4G Seoul Summit's official background document, present key policy contents such as the Seoul Declaration and the host country's official speech, and plan and Support the major events* within the summit schedule

Business Forum (sponsored by the MoTIE), etc
Overview
The South Korean government held the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit in May to achieve the 2030 greenhouse gas reduction goal and jointly realize carbon neutrality in the international community
- 677 major top leaders (46 top leaders and 21 heads of international organizations) around the world attended
GTC closely supports the entire process from preparation to holding events through close cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies
Major Achievement
Support to secure South Korea's policy initiatives
- General planning and preparation of 'Background Document', key official document that presents the background, theme, and direction of the summit
- Lead the preparation of the "Seoul Declaration", the official results document of the summit, and present key contents of the "Presidential Speech."
Support for major events at multilateral summits
- Planning and operating the 'Pre-P4G Event' organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to seek public-private cooperation based on P4G partnerships with major international organizations such as IPCC, GGGI, and GCF
- Development of technologies and strategies to realize carbon neutrality in the industry with the world's leading companies such as LG Chem, Volvo, and Lego by operating the 'P4G Green Future Session' organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT
- The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly operate a business forum on ESG management, green technology, and sustainable development
