ROK’s First Deployment of Senior Researcher to CTCN Secretariat
ㅇ Dispatched Personnel : Ho Sik Chon (Division of Policy Research, GTC)
ㅇ Period : One year from August 7th, 2017
ㅇ Purpose : To participate and support processes in the technology needs assessment for the climate change adaptation of developing countries and their technology cooperation with developed countries
ㅇ Anticipated Outcome
- Acquirement of field experience and knowledge regarding technology support efforts for developing countries by international organization
- Strengthening cooperation fundamentals with CTCN
□ CTCN Secondment Program Outline
ㅇ (Outline) CTCN Secretariat Office is currently receiving dispatches of officers from the CTCN Consortium, Member Institutions and National NDEs on yearly basis.
ㅇ (Purpose) To actively react to developing countries’ needs through the secondment programme and to motivate cooperation within CTCN partners
ㅇ (Supporting Organization) United Nations Industrial Development Organization, UNIDO
