GTC was selected as an excellent institution in the field of statistical development and improvement in 2021 in accordance with efforts to improve climate technology industry statistics that includes information about institutions and enterprises who have climate technology patents
Overview
Climate technology industry statistics were developed as a national statistical development project in 2017 and published annually
- Continuous improvement in statistical quality, such as expanding the scope of samples & survey items or moving up the timing of publication
In recognition of the relevant contribution, the Statistics Korea selected GTC as an excellent institution for the development and improvement of national statistics in 2021
Detailed improvements
Expanding the number of sample companies (1,000 companies → 2,000 companies) to improve statistical accuracy
Changes in survey items considering the necessity of policies and the utilization of results data
Changes in the actual conditions of technology development related to climate change and statistical tables to respond to policy demands
Early Announcement of approximate version of statistics, etc
